My salad #2

Hey lovelies! Happy new week to you all. I hope you had a fantastic weekend,  well mine was kinda stressful but I passed, #thankGod.

Well it's number 2 of my salad series. Well, initially for this, I wanted to make a bird nest salad dressing. But then along the line I changed my mind, funny hug? I love to play with colours when it has to-do with food. Why because food to me is an art. Then Salad is a style. That's why I take my time to get it well decorated. Isn't it looking beautiful?
This alone would make you hungry if you are no salad gang😊😜 but then u can prepare this at home, all you need is

*love colours
*be creative.

The ingredients are listed below but directions for dressing this would be later.

1/2 round Cabbage
2 Cucumber 
Carrots. (I love carrots, so I won't put quantity as it depends, just make sure it's moderate after grating)
1 tin Sweet corn
1 tin green peas
1 tin baked beans
1 tin red kidney beans
2 boiled eggs
Lettuce (optional)
1/2 elichè spaghetti (optional)

DIRECTIONS
* wash and nicely grate the cabbage with a grater.(wash with vinegar)

*wash and cut off the green back of the cucumber, and remove the seeds.then finely dice into cubes.

*wash and grate carrot

*boil eggs and cook the spaghetti moderately. Then slice egg

*wash sweet corn, green peas, red kidney with clean water.

Then start first by spreading the cabbage

Then cucumber, carrot, you just put them layers by layers till you get to the top, then be creative with the toppings.

Watermelon cocktail drink

Who else is partying tonight? Well, if you’re the stay indoors,You could make your own healthy and organic cocktail.

 

INGREDIENTS

6 Medium chunks of watermelon

120 ml of water (1/2 cup)

2 lemon slices

2 teaspoons of grenadine (black currant)

2 teaspoons Angostura bitters (or alomo bitters)

1/2 teaspoon of sugar for syrup

Sprinkles or sugar for garnishing the glass

DIRECTIONS

With 1/4 cup (60 ml) of water, blend the watermelon chunks and sieve for the juice. You can also use a juicer and avoid using extra water.

In a separate cup, mix the rest of the water and the 1/2 teaspoon of sugar to form a syrup. You could use warm water so the sugar dissolves better.

Pour the sugar mix into the watermelon juice, add the angostura bitters and grenadine.

Use one of the lemon slices to rub around the tip of the glass and rub the glass in the sprinkles or sugar for garnishing.

Pour some ice cubes in your glass and pour in the watermelon juice and serve cold. Garnish with more lemon slices or any other fruit of your choice.

You should know that salad is no meal but a style. It's my inspiration. Yeah I know its funny but I do love salad. Most people don't know how to eat salad but please I beg you, learn. I never knew how to eat it as well for years even while it's my business. It's highly recommended by me to you all. It's all veggies. And it's our work ooo. Live life

Do you know that taking pills,food and daily exercise does not really mean you are healthy or have rest of mind.

Pills, food and daily exercise are important but you need much more to ensure a healthy living, that's why I have taken out time to outline a few point you need to live life.

>> REST

You need enough rest as much as you can get.
Our daily struggle has stolen this away from us. We can't even get a complete 4 hours sleep anymore.
Rest is one of the most important tool to staying healthy and having peace of mind. I realized that once I have a stress free day, my body system changes in such a way that I can even do without food but sleeping all day(might not be the same with you)
My body react this way because my mind is at rest and am neither thinking about what needs to be done or work issues.
Most people don't know what it feels like to have a holiday, as their kind of job does not recognize holidays. Believe me, they never bargained for that kind of life and that's why they would always say “what will I do? "  well, you can do something. You can rest. It's totally your choice.
I wonder why some offices only allow sick leave to staffs, does this mean we have to become ill or pretend to be ill before taking a break from work?
The answer is NO. These companies will continue to operate with or without us. So why can't we take just a little break and rest. And we should not just rest but also

>> FEED WELL

please know that the food we eat most times can make either make us fit and assist us in overcoming lot of medical problems that may arise due to irregular or improper feeding habit. And that's why we must watch what we eat and take advantage of those food that would assist the body. Be mindful of what, where and how you eat. Take fruits and food that will help you experience new hope for your health and restore your body to natural healthy state.
